We're a UK African supermarket, specializing in West African and Nigerian food and groceries. We ship from John and Biola in Camberwell, London, an African Supermarket and Butcher with 30 years experience.
Where do you deliver to?
Right now, we deliver to London and Greater London. We are working on delivering to all of the UK or United Kingdom. If you live outside London and would like us to deliver to your area, please send us a note at firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out our form so we can gauge demand. Thank you.
When does delivery occur?
Your shopping will be delivered between 8am-9pm on the Tuesday or Thursday following the day you placed your order. You can also request same day delivery for an additional fee - message us to arrange this service.
Can I get my grocery or butcher's order delivered on the same day?
Yes, you can order same day delivery as long as you place your order before 12 noon. There will be a greater delivery fee. Please message or email us to arrange this.
Can I change my order?
Yes you can change your order before 8 am on the day of your delivery. You cannot change same-day delivery orders. You can amend various things such as the number of items, items themselves, and delivery address as long as it is still in London, and your order total is greater than £15. Please email us to change your order. Once we confirm the order has changed, we will let you know. If your price is lower, we will refund the difference. If your price is higher, we will send you an invoice to pay for the higher price.
Yes, you can using QuickCollect. You can collect your order from our location at 15 Westmoreland Road Walworth London, SE17 2AX once it’s ready. We will notify you once your order is ready for pickup.
Can I return/exchange my order?:
We accept exchanges on unopened non-perishable items. We do not accept returns or exchanges on perishable items such as food. Please double check your order, and if possible, amend it before delivery begins. If there is anything wrong with your order, please let us know as soon as possible so we can correct it. This does not affect your statutory rights.
What if I'm not home to pick up my order?
If no one's in to receive your order, we will drop your order in a safe place indicated on your order.
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel or change any of your current orders before 12 noon on the day of delivery. Please email us or call to cancel your order.
How much does delivery or QuickCollect cost?
For deliveries, the cost is £10 to cover our driver's fuel and time. For QuickCollect, there is no delivery charge.
What measures are you taking to protect customers and staff from COVID-19?
Please be assured that we have very strict health and safety processes in place in our store and warehouse to keep everyone safe. We’re also following all relevant advice from the Government.
How do you deliver?
Our delivery drivers follow social distancing guidelines, so they will deliver to your front door whilst keeping a 2-metre distance from you.
What if a product is out of stock?
Sometimes, one or more of your items may not be available when we pick your order, because the item has gone out of stock, for example. We will contact you letting you know this is the case and your payment card will be refunded if an item is unavailable.
What if the weight of the product is different?
For certain items, such as meat or fish, the weight may vary slightly compared to the listed weight. In general if the weight variation is significant, we will refund the difference to you.
What if my delivery is late?
Delays sometimes happen due to circumstances beyond our control, for example, adverse weather conditions, unexpectedly heavy traffic or a mechanical issue with the delivery van, so we’ll email or text you about any delay as soon as we can.
